Como todos saben, la pandemia de coronavirus está afectando de forma drástica a la vida cotidiana de todos nosotros. Con unos efectos sociales, económicos y principalmente sanitarios, también deportivos, de gran alcance, con la temporada de la Liga Endesa suspendida hasta el día 24 de abril, así como la Basketball Champions League que también ha sido cancelada provisionalmente, toda actividad deportiva en el seno del Club Baloncesto Canarias está paralizada.
Por todo ello y en cumplimiento de las medidas tomadas por el Gobierno de España, los jugadores del Iberostar Tenerife, como el resto de los mortales, permanecen en sus respectivos domicilios a la espera de la evolución de los acontecimientos, medida esta necesaria para detener la propagación del coronavirus. Quedarse en casa puede salvar nuestras vidas.
Todo lo expuesto anteriormente significa mucho tiempo de inactividad, sin baloncesto en vivo para ver y disfrutar. Por eso hemos pensado en ofrecerte un listado de casi todas las películas, y algunos documentales, de baloncesto con los que podemos tratar de llenar este enorme vacío. Por cierto, en dos de ellas, Coach Carter y Space Jamp, podrás contemplar la aparición de dos baloncestistas norteamericanos y, además, ex jugadores del Club Baloncesto Canarias: BJ Pratt y Tom Tolbert.
